Out off season there is a good chance that people offer you accommodation and since most of the rooms are in Chora (the islands capital Panagia), you will be picked up at the port. Several new pensions have been built lately in Chora.
If you on the other hand like to stay close to a beach there is a place down by the Tsigouri beach with rooms and a tavern. The establishment is called Grispos Villas I/II and run by George Gripsos and with telephone: 22850-71930. The same person also runs the combined Tourist Centre, Super Market and Travel Agency that you find immediately when you enter Chora from the port, telephone: 22850-71950, 71175.
Stratos Spyrilis who runs the pension Anesi picked me up when I arrived to the island. The rooms at Anesi are nice and have a beautiful view to the west where you have the sea in the horizon. For more information call 22850-71180.
