Most accommodations are to be found in Livadia, which also is the harbour of the island. Every time a boat arrives an information kiosk opens, and on a huge board you can find photos and information about different accommodations.

• Livadia

In Livadia you will find the most places to eat on the island. The taverns and restaurants vary from typical Greek country food, pizzeria, mix with influences from Greek, French and Vietnamese cuisines, and of course coffee shops and breakfast places.

There are several ways of getting around on Tilos.

• Walking

I mention this old fashion method first, because I consider walking on Tilos to be a very nice way of getting to know some parts of the island and especially the lovely scenery and old paths, ideal for walking.

On many developed and overcrowded islands you find a lot of stuff to buy in gift shops. The items don’t seem to vary that much compared to other destinations in Europe or even Bali in Indonesia. But on Tilos there are a few shops with, what I would like to call, quality items.
